7. Seminar auf Schloss Romrod - Jetzt anmelden!
Am 24. und 25. Oktober 2011 findet auf Schloss Romrod erneut ein Seminar des FA-Konformität & Recht statt. "Das neue Produktsicherheitsgesetz" steht dabei im Fokus - ein Thema, das auf Grund seiner Aktualität auch Sie interessieren dürfte.
Das ProdSG löst in kürze das bisherige Geräte- und Produktsicherheitsgesetz (GPSG) ab und bringt eine Anzahl an Neuerungen hinsichtlich der rechtlichen Anforderungen an die Sicherheit von Verbraucherprodukten, die von Herstellern (Importeuren, Händlern) in Verkehr gebracht werden mit sich. Diese werden im Seminar vorgestellt und in Bezug auf ihre Praxisrelevanz erörtert. Themenschwerpunkt sind dabei u.a.:
- Wichtige Grundlagen nach dem neuen ProdSG
- Krisenmanagement und Krisenteam
- Risikobewertung nach dem europäischen Leitfaden

Ordinary General Assembly 2011
The Society of Music Merchants' seventh ordinary general assembly will be held in Berlin on Friday, the 16th of September, 2011. All full member firms are invited. The event will take place at andel's Hotel Berlin.
Trade Fair Breakfast with Presentation by GfK
This year too, the branch association SOMM e.V., in cooperation with PPVMedien and the Frankfurt Music Trade Fair, will once again host a Trade Fair Breakfast with a presentation by GfK. It will take place on Thursday, April 7, from 8.00 to 9.00 am in the "Illusion" Hall of the Music Trade Fair/Prolight+Sound at the Frankfurt Congress Center Fairground (directly next to the Maritim Hotel). Entry begins at 7.30 am.
The organisers have once more prepared a double reinforcement for the event. Along with breakfast, the visitor can expect an animating presentation given by Wolfgang Twardawa. An expert from the Society of Consumer Research (Gesellschaft für Konsumforschung or GfK) in Nürnberg, he will be addressing the subject "Germany in a Consuming Frenzy?" and will discuss the unusually positive economic recovery taking place in Germany right now and the impact it is having in the retail sector, especially with respect to the music branch.
The Frankfurt Congress CenterTrade Fair is right next to the festival hall and is directly accessible from the square. The way to the Trade Fair Breakfast is signposted.
Trade Fair exhibitors and professional visitors with fair passes can sign-up for attendance with the fax sheet below by March 21, 2011. The breakfast is for all participants completely free of charge. Attendance is limited, however, so – first come, first serve!

SOMM is certain: Active music-making exerts a positive influence upon people and communities.That is why it is especially important that we are introduced to it early and train accordingly. In order to promote active music-making in childhood, SOMM has instituted a prize--The European School Music Prize (ESP). First-rate examples of "exemplary music instruction" at public schools are to be awarded and thus encouraged.
