Several studies have proven that there is a direct link between learning to play and instrument and intelligence and social competence - especially in children. We are also convinced of this positive effect and that's why we are actively involved in the initiatives that address the promotion of music.

We have results to show for our work!  Our support in the promotion of music- making has led to cooperation with the German music council (Deutscher Musikrat), the initiative „Let`s Make Musik“  and the SchoolJam band competition. GFK- Study

A survey entitled "Music instruments and playing music" was conducted in July 2008 to assess the attitudes of the general population towards active music playing as well as to obtain added information on this topic. The survey involved 11.900 households and offered valuable insights for the placing of focal points in our work. The intention of our society in commissioning this survey was to further research the state of active music making, to support it and to make public the results. We achieved all of our objectives.
